Pediatric Spacer Devices

If you or a loved one is having difficulty with the rapid spray of an inhaler, a pediatric spacer with mask will make the dispensing of medication into the lungs easy and more comfortable. A spacer device is used with a hand-held meter dose inhaler to maximize the medication dosage directly into the bronchial tubes with minimal leakage into the face, eyes and throat. Especially important with inhaled steroids, a pediatric spacer is very helpful for children, the elderly and other patients who have trouble timing their inhalation with the rapid spray of a typical inhaler. We have the PARI 51F5000 vortex spacer holding chamber, which has a non-electrostatic metal chamber and is latex free. It's compact and portable, allowing for easy travel. Our other vortex spacer device is the PARI 51F5110, with a ladybug toddler mask. This is a similar model, but it includes a friendly duckling mask for little ones aged 1-2 years.
