VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) are gases and chemicals that come from objects and products such as paints, household cleaning chemicals, and furniture.

Carbon acts as a sponge to adsorb VOC's. While the standard carbon blanket that comes with every Amaircare product is a very effective sponge, this 100% VOC Canister has a much larger surface area of carbon, so its collection capacity is greatly increased. This makes the VOC Cartridge the filter of choice for situations where increased VOC Removal is important.
