Portable Air Conditioners
In order to work properly, hot air needs to ventilate through the air conditioner. During the cooling process, humidity is removed from the air and condensed before being expelled from the unit. The air conditioner can either collect the excess water in a tray or evacuate it through a hose connected to a window or other departure point. Some models use the collected moisture to re-hydrate the air, cooling it further.
For even greater air cleaning abilities, look for a portable AC with HEPA filter system. The HEPA filter will provide superior particle reduction, removing dust, dander and pollen from your home. The result will be cooled air thatís also significantly easier to breathe. You may even notice a reduction in allergy symptoms as common triggers are caught in the systemís filter.
