Fungus and Mold Preventative Measures

Fungus and mold in your home can be major sources of allergies. There are preventative measures you can take to keep molds from forming or from reappearing after treatment. To lower humidity, use electric dehumidifiers in larger rooms and non-electric dehumidifiers in smaller spaces such as closets. Mold preventative measures in the bathroom include mold-resistant tub mats and shower curtains. You can use high temperature and dry air to kill mold spores, such as with our mold zapper. This prevents mold from spreading. We also have information about Airfree air sterilizers and very effective mold cleaners which are tough on mold but gentle on you, your family and the environment. These are all important preventative measures for fungus in your home. See our mold information page for more information about what it is, how it grows and where it is typically found. And then browse our powerful solutions for keeping it out of your living space.
