Chemicals have replaced bacteria and viruses as the main threat to human health in western industrial nations. While our bodies have some natural defenses against particles, they have absolutely none against airborne chemicals and gases. Most domestic air purifiers on the market focus on protecting you against particles. They only have a few grams of carbon sprayed on a mesh. That's enough to capture some odors, but not enough to clean the air.

AllerAir air purifiers use the largest activated carbon filters in the industry to give the most protection from chemicals and odors. Particles like dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and even viruses are all removed indiscriminately by a HEPA air filter. Other options are available to help you get your air even cleaner, such as a UV light and specialized blends of carbon.

Mass Activated Carbon can trap up to 60% of its own weight of gases and odors
