Dirt and debris are continually coating and insulating your central air conditioner's coils, condenser, electronic systems, motors, fins and other components that fall in the path of the equipment's air intake. Such obstructions are a costly expense. Even if foreign objects are not visible, the buildup of airborne dirt will impact your equipment's ability to work efficiently and require repeated maintenance for cleaning. Dirty equipment means efficiency decreases, heat build-ups, higher discharge pressure and increased amp draw.

Permatron's patented PreVent Equipment Protection Filter is permanent, washable woven synthetic fabric media, which draws in and traps airborne particulates. The electrostatic media, enhanced by airflow, needs no electrical connection or system modification - the filter is simply affixed to the outer perimeter of the air intake fins and held in place by unique elastic bungee cord/hook attachments. Built with durability in mind, the the filter's black polypropylene media is UV protected and contains an inherent electrostatic charge that won't diminish over time. PreVent Equipment Protection Filters will stand up to hostile environments including corrosive areas, UV exposure and fluctuating weather conditions. Filter is easily removed and cleaned by spraying with a mild cleaner and rinsing with water or vacuumed in place by using a shopvac.
