Agion microbial coating has been incorporated into the filter to prevent the surface growth of mold, fungus, algae and bacteria. This protection lasts the life of the filter.
The primary function of the filter is to absorb water and release it as moisture into the air. As the filter does this, impurities such as rust and minerals are trapped making the filter less efficient.
Humidifier filters should be replaced at the start of the season of use and about every two to four weeks depending on usage and water hardness. Always remove the filter when cleaning your humidifier.
This filter is offered in basic format. Also available is an extended life filter in a Metal Mesh Version by BestAir for only $1.00 more. The extended life model will almost double the life of your filter.
