Portable Air Conditioners

Portable air conditioners offer more flexibility than other window/wall air conditioners, because they can be placed almost anywhere you like. Since the air conditioner is contained in one unit the hot air needs to ventilate through a hose that is normally 3" - 5" in diameter. Condensation is either collected in a bucket, vented outside through the exhaust hose, or reintroduced into the the air to cool it further. Portable air conditioners are usually mounted on wheels (casters) for easier transportation.
